Let alone being a wonderful store, the are so giving and supportive of our community. The pharmacy staff is amazing. Whats not to love?
Owner Jolene and Manager Madison were unnecessarily rude and hostile towards me over a transaction issue. I would not recommend purchasing from this establishment and will not return due to this experience
This is a really cool place with a vast variety of goods, including a pharmacy. Also, grab some ice cream before you leave.
I buy my drugs here. Friendly staff, unique store with so many little things to buy. Staple of the community.
Nice old fashioned experience, a young cashier actually greeted us when we entered. Not a lot of other staff on a holiday
Nice place, fun things to look at, just watch your purchases at check out. Items that are listed on sale (valentine's candy) does not ring up on sale, you pay the full price.
A true treasure of a store. They have a little bit of everything. Pharmacy has a drive up window. Seasonal decore at Christmas is awesome.
Very disappointed with the service from the pharmacy. Prescriptions are never ready on time and consults are not done for new prescriptions. I agree with other reviews. One person at drive thru and 8-10 people in the pharmacy, but you still have to wait several minutes for anyone to help. If you call ahead to make sure your prescription will be ready, they are still not filled. Time to talk my parents into a new pharmacy.
Greatest store in southern Iowa. Very beautiful redhead works in the pharamacy. Jane and John run an amazing, community based store. Fantastic place to shop with the friendlist workers around.
Went in to get some allergy medicine at the pharmacy counter. There was only one person in the drive thru, and several employees working behind the counter. I stood there for quite some time and no one bothered to ask me if I needed help or even say they would get with me shortly. I ended up giving up, putting my other items back on the shelves and leaving. I ended up going to the Walmart Pharmacy where I was waited on immediately and the prices for the exact same products were significantly lower in price. I will not bother going into this store again, as it appears they are just to busy to even give the basic customer service.
I love Mahaska Drug. They are so helpful and friendly. I have never had a negative experience there. Even when getting an immunization it has not been unpleasant due to the skill of the tech giving it. I love looking at and buying the beautiful and fun gifts available there. A shout out to Jane and her great team.
Friendly staff. Pharmacy is pretty good. My only qualm is the pharmacy drive through is always slow and backed up.
The staff is beyond incompetent - they gave my sister (whom is well into her second trimester) not only the wrong medication, but a medication that can likely result in birth defects in the second/third term (lisinopril). Entirely unapologetic, and refusal to acknowledge they provided her with our mother's medication even though they have different last names, addresses, and have not lived together for 5+ years. If my future nephew is in anyway harmed the results will surely be worse that a one star review.

Mahaska Drug is an amazing Pharmacy. I am so impressed with all their support for the Oskaloosa community. I personally feel that they deserve a constlation of stars for all their acts of kindness and support for the community. Thank you Jane and the Mahaska Drug team for being an amazing family owned pharmacy!
I needed a shelf item that I could not find anywhere in town. Then I remembered oh mahaska drug! And sure enough they had it. Thank you for providing our community with things we need. Whether it be the pharmacy dept. or something to make our homes beautiful or a special place to get a gift.
Mahaska Drug is a phenomenal place! I had to have my inhaler prescription filled there and Amy spent hours on the phone with my doctor and insurance to get them to switch to a brand my insurance would pay for. I am overwhelmed by the genuine concern and work that they put in for me. Because of them I was able to get the inhaler I so desperately needed!! Thank you Mahaska Drug!
This is an Osky secret. If you visit Osky you must stop here. We stopped in just to see what they have. A great place around Christmas and other holidays. The service is always great.
